Expert Residential Electrical Repairs in Huntington Beach, CA

Residential electrical repairs in Huntington Beach cover a wide range of issues: dead outlets, tripped breakers, flickering lights, warm switch plates, and partial power loss in specific rooms. Many homes in Huntington Beach were built during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s building boom. A large share of the city's housing stock still carries original wiring and panels that were never designed for today's electrical loads. Salt air from the Pacific also accelerates corrosion on electrical components, which can shorten the life of outlets, connections, and panel hardware in coastal homes. At Structured Wiring By Rader, we diagnose the root cause before any repair work begins. We do not patch symptoms. We trace the fault, fix it correctly, and confirm the system is safe before we leave. Whether your home is near the beach or further inland, our licensed electricians work to California code on every job. Call us to schedule a repair visit.

Residential Electrical Repairs FAQ

Common questions about residential electrical repairs in Huntington Beach, CA.

Yes, we diagnose and repair dead outlets throughout Huntington Beach. The cause is often a tripped GFCI, a loose connection, or a wiring fault that needs to be traced back to the source.

Not always. A repeatedly tripping breaker in a Huntington Beach home often points to an overloaded circuit or a failing breaker, both of which can be repaired or replaced without a full panel swap.

Flickering lights in older Huntington Beach homes can signal loose wiring, a failing connection, or a circuit that is drawing more load than it was built to handle. A licensed electrician should inspect it before the problem worsens.

Homes built in Huntington Beach during the 1960s may still have aluminum branch wiring or original panels rated at 60 to 100 amps, which are not adequate for modern electrical use. An inspection will tell you exactly what you have and what needs attention.

Yes, salt air from the Pacific accelerates corrosion on outlets, connections, and panel hardware in Huntington Beach homes. Corroded connections can cause heat buildup, intermittent power loss, and fire risk if left unaddressed.

Any repair that involves wiring inside walls, circuit work, or panel components requires a licensed electrician in California. Structured Wiring By Rader holds the proper licensing to perform code-compliant residential electrical repairs in Huntington Beach.

"Fantastic Service and Results!" Jason and his team at Structured Wiring just completed an incredible job upgrading the wiring and installing a new Wi-Fi system in our home. The difference is night and day! Our internet is now significantly faster, more reliable, and we no longer experience any dead spots throughout the house. Jason is a true professional—he’s not only skilled at what he does, but he’s also a genuinely nice guy to work with. The job was completed on time, and everything looks clean and organized. I’ll definitely be bringing him back for future projects. Highly recommend Jason and his team to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Jason did a phenomenal job on our Nest camera installation. He has such great work ethic and treated our house as if it were his own. All holes in the wall were spackled and his work is very organized and neat. After the job was completed, all wires were tidy and secured so that they are barely seen. It is difficult finding an electrician who is honest and reliable, and Jason is exactly that. His pricing is very reasonable and he communicates well throughout his work from beginning to end. His coworker Gabriel was also very respectful and hard working. While they worked they laid plastic down and blankets to ensure our home was protected. Jason went over and above with his commitment to this job and I highly recommend!

Dina Borsari Google review · September 2020

Jason was very communicative from the get. His work was really clean and ran a very efficient day around my home. He installed tons of led lights in my home, 4 ceiling fans, many new wall plugs, and a 220v EV hookup for my electric vehicle. The pricing was very reasonable and really made me feel at ease. Thank you Jason at Structured Wiring.

Christopher Cobo Google review · April 2022

I am extremely satisfied with the services Jason provided. I had him install a recessed electrical outlet above my fireplace and it looks amazing. His communication throughout this process was great and the price was very good. As he was leaving, I asked him for help with a three way switch I installed wrong. Within seconds he had it working! I definitely recommend using him for any electrical work and I would definitely call him again for any electrical needs. Check them out on yelp for more details on the company. He has five stars on there too. Thanks again, Jason!
